ISI has provided direct financial services support to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at its Financial Service Center (FSC) supporting Payment and Payment Resolution services. There are approximately 1.7 million Payment and Payment Resolution records processed at the FSC; and, the invoices received generate approximately 120,000 payment input and 520,000 payment exception actions respectively. Our Quality Program’s success has resulted in an accuracy rating of 95% to 98% on these activities.

ISI personnel input payments and perform payment adjustments, and our staff analyzes invoices and/or payment vouchers to substantiate form of payment and contract provisions to validate certifications, price agreements, and potential discounts or penalties, as well as analyzes and validates rejected electronic invoices.

ISI has experience supporting VA-FSC systems including Invoice Payment Processing System (IPPS), Electronic Content Management System (ECMS) Document Management System (DMS), On Line Certification System (OLCS), and the Financial Management System (FMS). ISI’s direct experience with VAFSC’s Payment and Payment Resolution group reduces the team’s learning curve to come in and understand VA’s financial operations.
